1. Data we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address (and name if you sign in with Google). Within the app, we store the trips, expenses, vehicle info, and settings you enter. Data is stored in our managed Postgres database hosted by Supabase, protected by row-level security so only you can read or modify your records.
2. Google Sign-In
If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your email and basic profile from Google for authentication only. We do not access your Google Drive, contacts, calendar, or any other Google service.
3. Payments (Premium)
Premium subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe sends us a customer ID and subscription status so we can enable Premium features. Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
4. Advertising (Free plan)
Free-plan users see ads served through Google AdSense. Please note:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices.
For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, a consent message is shown before any personalized advertising cookies are set, and you can decline or change your choice at any time. Premium users do not see ads.
4a. US state privacy rights
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access or delete it, to correct inaccuracies, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information. To opt out of targeted advertising, use the Google and industry opt-out links above. To exercise any other right, email us; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
5. Analytics
We may use lightweight, privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate product usage. No personally identifying information is shared.
6. Your rights (CCPA & GDPR)
You can export all of your data or permanently delete your account at any time from Settings. If you are a California or EU/UK resident, you have additional rights including access, correction, portability, and deletion. To exercise them, email us at the address below.
7. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Deleted accounts are permanently removed and not recoverable.
